WHO ARE WE?

The firm was founded in 1972 by Mike Fish and we still have clients who have been with us since the early days. Alan Hall joined in 1982 and the firm became Hall and Parsons in 2006.
Alan retired from the firm in March 2017. We rebranded as HPCA Ltd in January 2020 following our move to new premises at 1 Ihumata Road, Milford, Auckland and Daimon becoming a director.

Many of our staff have been with us for longer than they may care to admit and we think that continuity and deep experience means that there are few taxation, business management or compliance problems that we can’t solve.

Our client base is incredibly diverse and this, combined with our breadth of experience, means that we efficiently arrive at a solution.

Where required, we will go to our extensive network of specialist tax, banking, investment or legal advisors to find an answer, because we know that we don’t know everything!

Many of our clients reside overseas and we are aware of the trans-border issues that may arise in terms of tax and financial reporting compliance.

We act for many non-resident investors and our services to them often include management of their investment properties, including processing of bank transactions and payment of creditors, in addition to annual compliance matters.

Our intention is to provide good service, of a high quality, but for a reasonable level of fees compared to larger firms.
We are familiar with most accounting software packages including Xero, MYOB and Reckon-Quick Books.

Community Support

We are proud to act as honorary accountants for the Mussel Reef Restoration Trust, a charity which is a partner in the Review Our Gulf intitiaive focussing on restoring the health of the beautiful Hauraki Gulf.
